I am NOT Tamar. My name is Kate and I am just a friend trying to help her spread the word about her music. This is , however, an Official fansite as Tamar definitely knows about it! I run it with her cooperation (some exclusive pictures from Tamar are in various albums) as she knows she has as much control over it as she'd like. :) The goal is to help spread the word about Tamar's music. To let people fall in love with it and have them relate to the words she's singing. So, don't be afraid to let anybody and everybody know about her! She deserves it, thanks!

Who I'd like to meet: A little about Tamar:
How long have you been singing and playing the piano? Tamar: According to my parents, I could sing before I could talk.. but I've been pursing a music career professionally since I was 15. Been playing piano for 3 years (in August). Just started taking piano lessons lol learning classical theory. I basically picked up piano by ear.
So if you never got into music what would you be...grow up to be I guess I should say. Tamar: Honestly.. I don't see myself and never saw myself as anything other than a musician and entertainer..
Well you grew up around it so that makes sense Tamar: :) Music is my life. I wouldn't be able to breath without it.
If you could work with any artist/musician/songwriter whomever, who would it be and why? Tamar: Billy Joel. I admire his music and songwriting so much. If I could work with anyone, it would be him, without a question. He's a storyteller through his lyrics. You listen to a song of his, and you feel like he's singing to you directly; that he's telling your life story. He has a song called 'And So It Goes,' and every time I hear that song, I can't help but tear up. There is a certain honesty and depth to his work that sadly doesn't really exist anymore in music today.
What's the best advice you've ever been given? Tamar: I have two words of advice that I always try to implement into my life
1. Never expect anything from other people.
2. Never expect other people to make things happen for you. If it's going to happen, you do it yourself.
If you could instill one quality in every person on earth, what would it be? Why? Tamar: Sincerity. There aren't enough sincere people on this planet.
When you're in your 80's and looking back at your life, what do you hope to see that you've accomplished? Tamar: I would love to look at my life and know that I helped others who weren't as fortunate. That would give me the greatest happiness.
