About Tamesha S. Hawkins

Tamesha S. Hawkins, author of Sugar Lumps and Black Eye Blues, is blessed to have Confectionately Yours as her second creation. Originally from Lakewood NJ, she attended Temple University where she majored in Elementary Education with concentrations in Theater Arts and Psychology. Currently, she is working towards a Certification in Business which will help her with her non-profit recording studio: Basic Pentameter. Maintaining a home away from home in Philadelphia, she devotes her time to working as the Box Office Supervisor at the Arden Theatre Company, promoting literacy in Philadelphia public schools, acting and being the new Board Member of Represented Theater Company.
