About me: I am a mixed-media/outsider artist currently living the altered life in Asheville, North Carolina. I am a treasure hunter at heart. For me, the collecting, cultivating, and clipping of daily and historical ephemera are more than half the fun. Pulling together these various pieces of life lived, on the page, visual journaling, leads me to the realization that it's the intuitive process that is the driving force behind my inspiration. The techniques I use in my work vary. From encaustic to transfers, collage, embossing, mosaics, you name it, I've probably tried it. I see myself creating this incredible visionary environment, made of mosaics, mirrors, old toys, and anything I fancy. Spending each day in splendor, as I while away the hours, the days, the years, recycling life history into an extra-sensory environment to be experienced for generations to come.
