MY name is Tamisha. I am one of ST.VINCENT & THE GRENADINES finest upcoming artistes. I was exposed to music at age five in church. My first song was (JESUS LOVES ME).My interest in music and it's creation began to spiral in a build up at a slow but steady pace allowing me the opportunity to grow and develop my passion ,skills and love for the art form. Performing became a daily routine by the time everyone heard me singing in church.
I then started to sing different genres of music, r&b, pop, dancehall……ironic enough my first recorded song was a soca “my love” at age 17.
I recorded my first hit last year 2k7 “love your way”at age 19, the same year in which I won the miss bequia pageant. Also entered the soca monarch competition 2008 with my track “action”. I was a member of the band Brown Sugar, then the band Bequia sound machine.
Music is my life and a dream come through. I took part in a lot of competitions. Both singing and pageants. I sang at most of the pageants,concerts, sporting events on the beautiful island call bequia.
I was influence by people like morgan heritage, Michael Jackson, Patrice Roberts, whitney Houston…….’’mind yo mind’’ am not only a soca diva. I am versatile.
