HAWAIIAN MUSICIANS..ISLANDS, SEAS, BEACHES, SUNSET, MOONLIGHT, SWAYING COCONUTPALMS, DAYDREAMING...
I have no master, no reference, no influence. I imite nobody. I have no style...
But:
I am happy if you like my music. It means that I hit the mark in my attempt to send you my feeling, when you have received all.
Because I’M NOT PROFESSIONAL, I don’t play every tunes, every tempo or every rhythm...at every moment.
I can’t play when I am not in the mood.
I play only TUNES WHICH CAN MAKE ME DREAM and I play them LIKE I FEEL.
According to my mood, I always change phrasing.
So, I rarely play a tune twice the same way.
Because I have no fame to defend, I’m not affraid to be denigrate.
I always feel free to follow my inspiration and have no fears about my playing: fine or wrong.
WHAT REALLY MATTERS, THE MAIN THING IS MY SATISFACTION AND YOUR’S.

"Ticklin' The Strings" by Sweet Hollywaiians
Amazing Japanese hot string band playing 1920's, 30's, 40's style hawaiian, swing, calypso, blues, italian music and originals, featuring vintage instruments.3 songs with Robert Armstrong and Tony Marcus(from Robert Crumb and His Cheap Suit Serenaders)
"The Sweet Hollywaiians have probably the best feel for this 20's music of any string band working today. They manage the rare feat of sounding relaxed even when their playing is hot, are top notch musicians with tasteful arrangements and a full, rich, warm sound.Plus, they have a nice gamut of tunes, from King Nawahi to Giovanni Vicari to Bobby Leecan. See them live, if you can, for an unforgettable experience. If you can't, buy their Cds!" ~ Terry Zwigoff
thanks for the friendship. Your music reminds me of the records my dad used to play. He is from Maluku (Indonesia). I totally dig when you say you only play when you feel it.
