Tammy Fletcher is Vermonts own Soul Queen. She is a native Vermonter with roots firmly planted in this great state and yet, she is quite at home on stage at the legendary Apollo Theater in Harlem, NY, or the Gaiety Theater in Dublin, Ireland, where she has performed for many sold-out shows. Her sound is reminiscent of a time when tone was king or queen if you will, pure and unadulterated. Tammy is a long-time favorite of the Governors Institute on the Arts and is also one of the featured musicians on the Vermont Arts Councils Cream of Vermont compilation CD of the best of Vermonts popular and traditional musicians. She now brings you Mountain Girl, an Americana band that is raw to her roots. Formed Late 2005, this project is young and ready to be heard world-wide!
