The concept is essentially, a place to meet people with similar interests in good wine and good music.
I would like to dispell some common misconceptions about the word "snob" as it pertains to this group. To be a Snob you dont need to have superior knowledge of all things wine, or an impecible taste in music. All you need is an interest in both. That could simply mean that you like to have a glass of wine on occasion, or it could mean that you are a Professor of Wine at the local community college on the weekends. Its competely unimportant. Just as long as you have an open mind and an open palatte, you are welcome to join us as we explore and discover everything that wine has to offer.
Eron and I love music and spend much of our time devoted to it. We talk about it, we travel (sometimes long distances) to hear it, we read about it and we put much effort into discovering it before its "discovered". We do have very open minds when it comes to music. However, being that our particular taste in music will dictate many of the events that we will plan for this group, our taste in music may interest you. Our favs include.....

If youve never heard of most of these groups, its ok. Your in the majority. Before Eron and I started exploring music together, we had never heard of most of them either. But now its such an enjoyable part of our lives, and we'd like to share it with others who enjoy it as well, or who are interested in learning more about it. Music is a very personal thing, but just like an icredible wine, incredible music will grow on you.
Who I'd like to meet:
We are starting a new group to get together and talk about good music and to try some wine tastings. We are called Tampa Bay W.A.M.S.
We would like to gain some members then have some meetings. Our current plan is to get together and discuss good music (mostly independent) while drinking some wines(which will hopefully be good also).
We hope to have the gatherings at a local wine establishment. We are still in the formative phase of our group. If you are interested into finding more people who share a common interest in music with yourself please check us out. Or maybe you would just like to hang out and try some new wines.
