Benjamin Glossop is the founder of TAMPA COMBAT which is now training out of the PINELLAS FITNESS & MARTIAL ARTS Academy in Oldsmar, Florida. Here, Benjamin is the Chief Instructor of BJJ and Kickboxing.

BJJ classes are every Tuesday and Thursday from 8pm - 9:30pm. Classes are being offered for ages 14 and above and we have both men and women training with us. Most of our training focus is Gi BJJ but we also incorporate no-gi and submission wrestling.

Freestyle Kickboxing classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7pm - 8pm. This kickboxing program has a primary focus in the techniques of Muay Thai but also takes elements from K-1, Full Contact, & American Kickboxing. Students can train for rank (levels) or simply for fun, fitness and self-defense.

Note: The first Tuesday of every month is a special Tampa Combat PRO training class for all levels where several Pro Fighters attend class to teach and train with a focus on MMA and cross-training.

Here's a little more about Benjamin Glossop:

Benjamin is currently a sponsored athlete representing CONFLICT FIGHT GEAR (www.ConflictFighter.com) and SIX DEUCE GEAR (www.62Gear.com).

BJJ: Benjamin is a Gracie Barra Purple Belt under Professors David Vieira and Fred Blum. He has been an Asst. Instructor at DVBJJ for nearly two years and was also the Head Instructor of the kids program as well. He began BJJ training in 2001 and started training consistently in 2005.

MMA & KICKBOXING: Benjamin is a Professional MMA Fighter and a veteran of Ballroom Brawl, Elite Cage Fighting and East Coast Champions MMA. He is also a Professional Kickboxer and a Level 6 Instructor certified in the Freestyle Kickboxing curruiculum. Benjamin has been a trainer for novice, amatuer, and professional fighters as well as many members of local law enforment agencies and U.S. Military Personnel.

TRADITIONAL ARTS: Benjamin was an elite level Olympic TaeKwonDo player & is a Kukkiwon Certified, 2nd degree Black Belt. In competition he earned himself 5 State Championship titles and an Olympic style, Mid-West U.S. Championship title. He is currently teaching Olympic Style sparring strategies at PFMA. Along with TKD Benjamin has also earned the rank of Brown Belt in Kenpo Karate and has attended numerous seminars in JKD, Sambo, and Arnis/Escrima.

FITNESS: Benjamin is a Certified Personal Trainer via American Muscle & Fitness.
