They're the best of the best, they're the Tampa Bay Derby Darlins Travel Team, THE TAMPA TANTRUMS! Tired of playing nice, 14 girls joined together in May 2006 and threw
the biggest tantrum the city of Tampa had ever seen. They bonded
together and broke off from their League detrmined to show the rest of
the state...hell the rest of the nation what true Florida derby girls
are all about-kicking ass and taking names. Thus the Tampa Tantrums
were born. They may look cute...with their lollipops and little girl
sized tops but don't let their innocent look fool ya. These ladies are
hard hittin, lip splittin bad ass chicks who make derby look like a
souped up version of rugby on wheels. Known as the "good girls with bad
reps" the Tantrums never play nice....on or off the rink.
Led by their coach, Shirley Insane, and the best skaters the Sunshine
State has to offer, the Tantrums have made it a point to do what they do
best....steam roll the competition and leave nothing but a trail of
bruised and battered bodies in their wake.
