I am a performer, choreographer and educator of the exquisite art of Raqs Sharqi and other Middle Eastern folkloric dances. I lived in the Middle East for many years where I performed as a soloist, studied dance and music, and generally soaked up the culture. I have performed in some of Cairo's most prestigious nightclubs as well as: Lebanon, Morocco, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Bahrain, Yemen, and Cyprus.
Since receiving my master's degree in dance at UCLA, I have toured internationally as a featured soloist and workshop instructor with the “Bellydance Superstars” (2005). I continue to be represtented by the Bellydance Superstars in workshops and performances worldwide. My home base is Los Angeles where I am on faculty in the Dance department of Glendale College.
