I love to read and write, although I do far too little of the latter these days. Through my English degree, I've had the chance to get my teeth into early French philosophy (eg: Sartre) and its fascinating to see where you can go with thoughts penned a hundred years ago.
I try to read as much as possible these days, as I believe education is the most important thing in my life right now. When everything else turns bad, you can always turn back to your mind and expand it.
I enjoy trying to get my ass into some kind of physical condition again, after being sick for so long. I'm like, totally huge now. Ah huh. Huge.

A big fan of cliche style mob movies. Goodfellas, The Godfather series, Donnie Brasco and so on. Also love the shit out of Snatch, Fight Club, Anchorman, White Men Can't Jump, Above The Rim, Citizen Kane, Angels With Dirty Faces and just about anything with Edward Norton in it. I love dissecting a film as much as simply sitting back and zoning out in it.

I don't really watch much TV. I do make a point of following sport though, so sometimes TV has its uses.

Books
I read a lot of classic literature and elitist, true-crime. I enjoy the variety that can be found in all forms of writing, as I find it to be a beautiful form of expression. I don't believe in "bad" writing, just "boring". Writing is expression and emotive. How can that be bad?
Its the technicality of English that disgusts me the most. It's too structured and rooted in semantics.
Reading a lot of fiction at the moment and I'm loving John Connolly. He sets a scene well and kills off the characters beautifully.

the holidays were cool. spent christmas w the family and dj'd at a bar NYE while getting piss drunk. Just got a new job today at a nice radio station today BTW so things are looking up. Wish i could say the same for Liverpool. God they are a fucking mess.
