Tanglefoot is a great four piece ceilidh band operating in London and the surrounding counties.
This barn dance band have been getting people dancing with their partners for many years now. The current line-up sees the excellent Pete Eiseman-Renyard doing the calling and playing bass (and bodhran). The guitarist is normally Mike Coombs and occasionally (recently) Elaine Samuels. Elaine was introduced to the world of Tanglefoot by Annie Parker (flautist) and Sim Jones (violinist), who play with Elaine in her own band, "Kindred Spirit".

"Dear Elaine
Thankyou so much for Tanglefoots input into the evening. We have received many thankyou letters already and everyone has said how brilliant the ceilidh band were our only wish now is that we had not had the disco and had you guys all evening!!
We raised just over £17,000 in total for the Childrens Hospice so it was a huge success.
I am sure we will be in touch if we have any other events.
Yours sincerely" Paul J Sedgwick
Bookings for Tanglefoot AND Kindred Spirit
Booking "Tanglefoot" and "Kindred Spirit" together as a package for events like festivals gives a superb, versatile option for less cost to the event organiser; since Elaine, Sim and Annie can not only play with caller, Pete as "Tanglefoot" but also form the core of the unique folk/rock band "Kindred Spirit" (see the second friend's myspace site). The "Kindred Spirit" group can perform excellent folk rock at concert events and Tanglefoot can provide great ceilidh music for barn dancing to.Annie, Elaine and Sim performing at the Cavern, Liverpool, June '06
