Music
I love all kinds of music, but I tend to listen to tango music the most. My favorite orquestas are Demare and DiSarli instrumentals or con Podesta.
Movies
My favorite movies are Moulin Rouge, Three Burials, Crash, Enternal Sunshine on a Spotless Mind, Shark Tale, and Bend it Like Beckham. I also love foreign films and documentaries...anything that doesn't make me feel like I'm losing brain cells by watching it.
Television
I don't have a TV anymore, and even if I did, I would never have time to watch it (tango is, afterall, a night time activity), but I really like watching Gray's Anatomy and Brothers and Sisters on my compuer. Yea! for free whole episodes at www.abc.com.
Books
I love to read, but I wish I had more time to do it. I like reading nonfiction books such as "Guns, Germs, and Steel: The Fate of Human Socities" by Jared Diamond or "In Defense of Food" by Michale Pollan. I also enjoy reading fiction, although I tend to read more of the classics since I feel like I should be learning something.
Heroes
Anyone that makes a difference in someone else's life in a positive way. These are the everyday heroes that I feel oftentimes go unnoticed.

Hi! I am a traveling Argentine Tango instructor and DJ and have just made Seattle, WA my new home base! I first started dancing tango 4.5 years ago, and for the last 4 years I have been teaching all over the country as well as in Argentina, Uruguay, Spain, Germany, Scotland, England, and Canada. What is Argentine Tango?
Argentine Tango is an improvised dance. The best analogy I can use is that it is like learning a foreign language. When you take a foreign language class, you learn vocabulary and grammar. With that, you are free to create your own sentences...your creativity is the limits. You also become more proficient with the language as you practice more and more, creating more complex sentences and with greater fluidity/ease. Argentine Tango is, as much as it can be, identical. When you take a tango class, you learn vocabulary and you learn technique (like grammar, but for your body). With this, you are free to create your own sentences with your partner, to the music. Because Argentine Tango is a social dance, you should be able to dance with many different people. This is similar to talking with many different people with slightly different accents. Sometimes there are miscommunications, but the two people work it out and continue with their conversation. Argentine Tango is truly a unique dance in which you can communicate with your partner nonverbally.
