"Sur de grands pans de toile libre,une silhouette feminine campe,parfois vêtue d'un treillis militaire,d'autres fois d'un costume de fête.Ici elle arbore sous un plâtre une fracture,là,sous une casquette,un visage de fée.Fixée à l'aide d'epingles à nourrices sur de grands cintres en fer forgé,chacune de ces 49 peintures donne le sentiment qu'elle est prête à emporter.La figure féminine habitant chacune des compositions s'interroge sur la meilleure manière de se libérer;de la toile,du cadre en général,de toutes les formes d'obligations.Paroxysme de l'oeuvre autobiographique,journal intime,très peu extrapolé,elle n'en paraît pas moins emblématique,tant son caractère,épuré,confine à l'archétype,à l'emblême,au blason.Pop au sens d'accessible,vecteur facile d'idées,héritière des pratiques de la Figuration Libre,et au delà,de la tradition spontanée apparentée au dessin d'enfant -surgie avec le Surréalisme au début du XXe siècle,renouvelée par le groupe Cobra dans les années 40 et rafraichie 20ans plus tard par de fortes personnalités,dont Nikki de Saint Phalle-,la manière de Tania possède une lisibilité et une fraîcheur resplendissante.
Plus poétiques que jamais,les textes,choisis ou inventés,inscrits en travers de ces nouvelles images,flottant au vent,parlent de ces "ailes qui poussent en dedans",propres à tous les promeneurs virtuels que nous sommes.L'oeuvre de Tania nous touche parce qu'elle correspond à nos rêves d'évasion.Les plus fous,comme les plus doux hissent ici très haut leurs couleurs."

Who I'd like to meet: "A LUMINOUS DIALECT WRITTEN ON THE LUXURIANT LEAVES OF A WILD
VIRGIN FOREST"
Her mother Finnish and her father Spanish,Tania has lived the life of
a nomad,squatting disused factories,living on the road in vans and in cabins
constructed with her own hands from waste materials.Her route has taken
her from Paris to the mountains,from there to Berlin and most recently with
her 2children and a small suitcase containing some of her spare,intuitive,
inspired texts,to her present-day base in Normandy.Many of her words have disappeared along the way,never having been conserved in writing.Sung or
expressed during performances,they fulfilled their purpose and simply evaporated.Such was the fate of her texts invented on a daily basis as she
acted as compere in the "House Kabaret maison"in Berlin,these last years,
together with the strange philosopher DJ Tilo Kaiser."

It’s the neighbourhood that is our programme – the
locations, the atmosphere, the characteristics and
after all the uniqueness.
KIEZKIEKEN wants to link art and life and to provide a
platform for a cultural exchange. The programme will
be designed around the respective neighbourhood.
The award winners will be chosen by the audience.
To finish off with the festival, bands from Berlin will
give you the opportunity to celebrate together with
film makers, guests and the audience.

LOVEBOARD Ten days, ten nights full of love - summer of love 2009.
From 11.-20.08.2009 we asked inhabitants and visitors of the Wrangel-
kiez to leave a love message, a love tag or a love story on a billboard,
that we created with lots of love at Schlesische corner Cuvrystraße in
Berlin. We were looking for fellow human beings, who accompanied us
these days with advice, activity and love. Just come around, join us
and have a look at our documentary.
we have prepared an entire programm for our LOVEBOARD. Ten days and ten nights full of love and tonite 18:00 it's gonna start.
