Stevie Nicks, Susannah Hoffs (The Bangles), Nelly Furtado....bit of yodelling going on here & there, some Irish Country/Celtic & World Music rantings.
"With her flowing locks, big 'ol acoustic guitar & impassioned wailing, Tanis & her backup band deftly interweave touches of funk & jazz with folky pop. Not just another guitar-toting babe-o-rama, Tanis also plays a mean flute. Her sultry warbling is very reminiscent of Jewel, before she became just another blond pop tart."

My name is Tanis. I am a singer-songwriter who plays guitar and flute and has performed across Sydney, the Gold Coast and "beyond" as a solo artist and with some wonderful & talented musicians. My first album 'Enchanted Celtic Fairy Pop' was produced with the collaboration of Producer Daniel Phillip Golightly of Red Ferret which can be purchased at iTunes.
I'm near completion of my BA in Contemporary Music and Multimedia Design at SCU and am currently performing on the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers region of NSW through various Entertainment Agencies.
Currently writing and recording some songs and collaborating with MC Kean and Daniel at Red Ferret on some hip hop tracks.
Check out the GIG info for details of my next performance.
