One day Pekka and Lauri decided to play progressive rock together. It came out as skate-punk and a humorous band Tantrum7 was born. After first EP, Arttu and Heikki joined the band and band's "blink182ish" name was changed to Tantrum of Seven. New name was supposed to make fun of similarly named emo bands which started to pop out to mainstream music scene. Well, no-one got the joke. Band was on hiatus for a few years, because of members' military and civilian service. In 2006 a new EP "shouldn't leave the house" was released. Surprisingly it got some national radio play and we started to tour more or less intensively. In 2007 we started to record new ep called "Late", which will be released in March 2008. After playing for years in small clubs and pub corners it's time to play some more. The original idea of having fun is still the motor of our actions. On stage we're giving all we've got. It's a mixture of excitement, catchy riffs, and energy compared to a babyborn high on crack. Come see us play! contact: pekka.nisu@gmail.com
