I like a lot of different music, from 10 Years After to NIN, from Janis Joplin to Garbage. What I listen to depends on my mood, surroundings and who I'm with.
Movies
My taste in movies varies greatly as well. Some of my favorites include the animated feature Heavy Metal, Conan the Barbarian (not the sequels), Mad Max (not the sequels), Jaws (not the sequels), Bladerunner. No, I don't lean towards bloody, violent films, these just happen to be some of my favorites. I also like scifi stuff like Dune and fantasy stuff like Underworld. I guess it just depends on my mood and who I'm taking with me.

Born in Germany, but a long time resident of Long Island, New York, I came to Jacksonville in 1994. Over the past 25 years, I have worked mainly in the accounting field, but also in the production of Special Events. In 1998, I began volunteering with First Coast Pride (www.firstcoastpride.com) as a way to get more involved with the community. During the past several years, with First Coast Pride, I have served in many capacities, most of them being in logistical roles and planning and implementation of their special events. In 2001, I met up with a local all female Rock, Indie, Alternative band called, TOO MANY SHOES (www.toomanyshoesrock.com) and started helping them out. Now, in my spare time, I run their sound and try to "manage" them. :)
April of 2007 I had enough of the Corporate World and left my bookkeeping job in hopes of finding something I enjoyed a bit more. A couple of days later I got a call from my friend Don about working at his brand new rehersal studio, Stay Tuned Studios, needless to say the timing was perfect. Finally, a job I truely enjoy! Who I'd like to meet: I’d like to meet the person who can fill-in my weaknesses without smothering me. Support my causes without rolling their eyes. Love me passionately, without needing to dominate me. A person who can accept me as I am and be happy about it. A person who will let me love them in a way I can enjoy loving them. A person who doesn’t mind me taking the lead, but who also knows when to take it back. Find it fun to walk down a busy city street at 1 AM. Go somewhere we’ve never been before just to see what’s there. A person who would look forward to blending our two busy, independent lives into one, over-the-top full-filling life.
