I am a member of New Birth where Bishop Eddie L. Long is the Senior Pastor. It is here that I became a member of the first graduating class of Women on the Path - a women's discipleship program spearheaded by our First Lady. I was later involved in this ministry as a member of the leadership team for one of the groups. I am also enjoy writing, listening to music, cooking, shopping, and reading.
I listen to mostly contemporary gospel, jazz, and R & B.

I love Tyler Perry's movies! I also like to watch action, drama, and comedies.

About me: I entered the world of authorship with my first book of inspirational poetry in 2006 entitled "Love Letters: Connecting the heart of man to God." The book outlines my search to find true love where I finally realized that it only comes from the love of Christ. I enjoy sharing my testimony with others as way to show them that they too can find the love that they have been searching for in Him.
In addtion to being an author, I am International Baccalaureate coordinator in a local high school.

The struggle has made it hard for me to grow up sane. If my heart had a mouth, it would throw up pain. Despite the obstacles in my path, I'll soar above it all. I will achieve greatness and I'm sure I'll love it all. My passion will drive me to explore new heights In reflection of a lion as I roar through life. In the hands of defeat, I'm returning in disguise Only to have sweet victory burning in my eyes. As a youth, I took on the responsibilities of a grown man. Rest assured, my destiny lies within my own hands. We must connect our minds in order to rise. It's very hard to overlook pain with watery eyes.

Never before has this been done, and hopefully it will be successfully repeated after this all over the world, again and again….
Our aim is to bring together poets from all over, who produce all
genres of poetry for a night of mingling, poetry, shameless self
promotion…. Each poet will have the poetry to read their work on
stage, sell their work to those who would like to buy, and mingle with
the best poets of our generation.
