Tanya, a courageous seventeen year old, for the last 20 months of her short life fought Adult Acute Myeloid Leukaemia. Before being diagnosed and during remission Tanya lived life to the full, inspiring others with her courage and determination. During those last precious months, she expressed the wish to help others. Therefore, in her memory, her family have set up a charity in Cornwall to endeavour to support teenage and young adult cancer sufferers, and their families. The information given is not medical, no members of the charity, are or ever have been, trained in any form of medicine

About Us We are a small group of people who are trying to carry out Tanya's wish to help other Cancer Sufferers. We cannot offer a cure or any medical advice. All we can do is try to offer a friendly ear and provide a gift to ease the boredom or even depression which we know comes with the illness. We understand the financial pressures an illness like this puts onto a family, so we are happy to offer financial assistance.

Cross Cornwall 122 Mile Bike Ride

-18 June - 21th June 2009

The Bike Ride took place from Saltash to lands end, stopping at many location on route for fund raising event including:
Tintagel arms (Tintagel) - Charity Jam night
Glendorgal hotel (Newquay) - Fun night
Inn (Vogue, St Day) - Ale Festival
Lands End - Stall Raffle

The Event was a huge success and The Tanya's Courage Trust would like to Thank all Of The Cyclists, Volunteers and venues which helped out on this event.
