First off, I'd like to say that Music is my first love. I didn't just wake up one day and smell the coffee and decided to be an artist to continue 15 minutes of fame, not that I had that, ha! BUT I have been singing since I could talk and started out in the choir at 11. People mostly knew Tanya Dormevil as a singer/model because I have done both at the same time as well as dance and act. But back to music, I have been performing forever it seems and I LOVE IT!
In regards to my infuences, I always loved Bone Thugs N Harmony, their harmonic flows, and just the way they flow. Its weird because I should be saying or people expect me to mention a R&B artist, but I am different and unique in my own style, however, I also love Deniece Williams, Ella Fitzgerald and Kim Burrell. Sometimes I switch up my flow and people often say, you rap too, but its not as hard as a rapper sounds, its soft like Bone Thugs thats why I call it Smooth Hip Hop..Alot of the tracks that Grease produced gives me that hip hop and pop feel and those are my favorite tracks to do..the slower songs are cool, but I like to be on my feet ya diig, don't know about u guys!
FIRST AND FOREMOST, I MUST SAY..HATERS KEEP BUILDING YOURSELF WITH HATE, SUPPORTERS KEEP BUILDING YOURSELF WITH FAITH. NEGATIVITY ONLY MAKES ME STRONGER, THAT'S Y THEY CALL ME T6 - YEH DIGG! ALWAYS REMEMBER, KEEP GOD FIRST ABOVE EVERYTHING..LIFE IS WHAT YOU MAKE IT AND IF YOU WORK REAL HARD AT IT, YOU WILL MAKE THINGS HAPPEN FOR YOURSELF. SUCCESS COMES THROUGH DEDICATION & MOTIVATION AND SUCCESS DOESN'T HAPPEN OVERNIGHT..WE ONLY SEE THE FINISHED PRODUCT AND NEVER REALIZE HOW LONG OR HOW HARD A PERSON HAS WORKED TO GET WHERE THEY ARE..FAILURE IS NOT MY OPTION. SO KEEP YA HEAD UP, STAY AWAY FROM NEGATIVE ENERGY, AND STAY MOTIVATED. I KNOW I WILL!

Sexy, sweet, energetic and business savvy are all adjectives that describe Vacant Lot/Lotmusik’s newest Pop/R&B sensation Tanya “T6”. Tanya a.k.a. “T6”'s talents go way above and beyond the typical artist. She not only entertains and captivates her audience with her sexy voice, provocative lyrics and amazing six pack, she is also a leader at the forefront of her own movement. At an early age Tanya began preparing herself for stardom and greatness, and she welcomes you to join her movement and experience Tanya T6 as she rises to the top to become one of the great Pop and R&B sensations of our time.
Tanya "T6" Dormevil was raised in Mt. Vernon, N.Y. and began singing in a gospel choir at the age of 11. At the age of 15 Tanya began taking dance lessons at Broadway Dance Center, where she studied all forms of dance ranging from hip-hop, house, pop & lock, breaking and ballet. By age 16, when Tanya moved to Bridgeport, CT with her family, Tanya became focused on her career knowing that she was destined to be famous. Tanya’s first introduction to the entertainment world on a professional level was as a model, where she participated in several local and national fashion shows. Knowing that singing was her number one passion, in her spare time Tanya began writing songs and choreographing her own dance routines knowing it was only a matter of time before she would begin performing as Tanya “T6”. With the connections she made in the fashion world, Tanya began performing at Fashion shows as an artist rather then a model which eventually lead to her performing at many well-known venues throughout CT and NY: Wish 26, Jimmy’s, and BMI Open Mic nights, just to name a few. Tanya’s performance quickly drew the attention of several producers, mainly Multi-Platinum producer Dame Grease (known for his Grammy winning production with DMX) who took her under his wing making her an official member of Vacant Lot Musik/Lotmusik. Over the last few years, Tanya and Dame Grease have been working diligently to perfect Tanya’s signature sultry sound, while she worked behind the scenes with several artists such as Jae Millz, Mims, Vita (formerly Murder Inc), JR Writer, NORE, Royce Da 59, Max B, French Montana, DJ Webstar, Mike Shore, and Mysonne.
On February 16, 2007, Tanya's debut single "Work My Body" premiered on the DJ Wrexx show on WZMX Hartford's Hot 93.7 and quickly flooded the digital world. With the combination of the hard-hitting bass beat and Tanya’s sexy and inviting vocals on her single, the calls and request for Tanya from across the nation and the globe came pouring in. On July 27, 2007 Tanya released the remix to “Work My Body” which featured Audi Rob from the hit single "Aunt Jackie” and a reggaeton version mixes by DJ Bebo. Knowing that in today's music industry having just one single is not enough, Tanya began remixing popular songs and sending out email blasts weekly to all the major DJ’s across the world. Before long, DJ’s were contacting Tanya on a daily bases requesting her latest and greatest remixes which eventually helped brand Tanya as the “R&B Remix Queen”. Her remixes were in regular rotation on several college and radio stations nationally and internationally, mainly her more popular remix/freestyles to "Kiss Kiss”, “Duffle Bag Boy(Girl)”, “Bed", “Shawty is a 10”, “Sensual Seduction”, “Good Life”, Bartender, “Freaky Girl and many many more. Due to popular request, in April 2008 Tanya released her first mixtape featuring all of her most popular remixes called “Move Over Paris Hilton, There Is A New It Girl In Town”. To Follow, in June 2008, Tanya released her official follow-up single called “Swag Boy” which has been hitting the airwaves nationally and internationally. To date, Tanya has over 30 songs tracked and accumulating spins via Mediabase.com and BDS.
As a dedicated artist, Tanya contributes all of her time into self-promotion, advertising, performances, and all aspects of introducing herself to the music industry. With the same creative and seductive energy that Tanya has captured the attention of the music industry, she is captivating venue audiences, radio, and cd listeners with the power of her voice, dancing techniques, lyrics, mind and personality, and natural beauty. So it is no surprise that Tanya “T6” will be one of the number breakout artists of this year.
