Hello and welcome to the my space site of Tanya Walker. Thanks for visiting and I hope you enjoy listening to the music that I have created. It is a privileage to share my music with you in this way.


I am a singer/songwriter/ performer based in Cardiff, South Wales in the United Kingdom and I perform across Britain, sometimes alone on piano, sometimes with Gareth Lewis on acoustic guitar and sometimes with the full band - Gaz Williams on bass and Geraint Brown on drums.


I released my first EP as a solo artist in 2004 entitled 'Coming Home' (after spending three years as lead singer in the band 'Flowmotion') and soon after won the FOPP/ PRS Best Unsigned Act Award, which resulted in the release of my second EP 'The Changing Me'. During this period I was invited by the PRS to visit China to create new music with well know singer/ songwriters and musicians from the Far East such as the multi-talented Maggie Fu. This was an unforgettable experience and one which greatly influenced the song 'Beyond my Babylove' which can be found on 'The Changing Me'.


I am currently writing and recording new material, but will keep my site updated with up and coming gig listings and special events. I welcome your comments and thanks for listening.
