There has not been a Tape Eaters song written in two years.** Practice only ever and anon. We had schlepped, plugged in and got our second wind, overextended, fell out. The music and words lost in the tall grass behind us as we fired slugs of volume into the gallery. A pyrrhic victory. Routed. Now at the conclusion of the long rest, we're stirring ourselves. Spinning the wheel on another three piece. Turning down. Moving ahead, or being pushed as our history expands behind us, lighter than air, denser. You can expect another album. Don't ask when.
** That's not true anymore. We just have to stop fighting long enough to practice them now.
Wood Spider would like to cordially invite you to 115 Franklin St, a neighborhood punk house in Allston, MA. We are lucky enough to be sharing the stage (basement floor) with O Pioneers!!!, FORT! the Band, Interrobang?! and the Brave Little Abacus! Get there at 7 to see us play!
Admission is free, but bring some a few bills anyway, to help out the touring bands (OP!!! has made their trek all the way from Texas!)
You have our eternal thanks,
-WS
