If you mistrust the crusty thrust of apple pie polemic, the coca cola consciousness of x class affluence, cleverly disguising an overbearing influence, then be warmed by the unbright light of pyromaniac production that embodies tapenoise conduction....

Das Wanderlust are an x-piece wrong-pop band. That is to say that there is an indeterminate number of them, and that their attempts at writing pop songs often come out sounding a bit 'wrong' (but in a very 'right' way).

CREVECOEUR (france) with live projections on 8mm film.....their sound has been said to sound like the backdrop for a Quentin Tarantino, Robert Rodriguez, Serge Leone or David Lynch film and the whole visual aspect takes their live show to a whole other level. A treat methinks.

support comes from nottinghams SOUVARIS who have been causing a bit of a stir around the uk and europe. comparisons have been made to (band of 2007) battles, tortoise, don cabellero, mogwai, explosions in the sky etc so im sure u get the idea. F**King ace!!

Local support comes from THE PETTY THIEF ive seen this guy twice and he's always amazing so im sure this will be no exception and relative newbies to lincoln MANBEARPIG who rock a relative mars volta vibe all good

Happy new year all love onebigwellingtonboot xxx

When you think of the great and varied minds possessed by the like of Plato, Augustine, Copernicus, Shakespeare, Newton, Picasso, Einstein, and then you compare them with the shrill and ‘aggressive’ voice of Richard Dawkins in his book The God Delusion you cant help thinking of a poor man’s Mr Spock: the cold absence of intuition; the dictatorship of a crude intellect over the greater arts of consciousness.

The intuitive genius contained in the like of the Inuit, Kalahari Bushmen, the Cogi of South America - the great Native American elder Fools Crow (now sadly deceased). If Richard Dawkins were to look with more scientific neutrality at this phenomena, and not approach received religion with his pre-judged half way house understanding of the greater phenomena behind it, he might settle for that less extreme position of agnosticism pending further exploration.

60% of cutting edge scientists persist in failing to categorise themselves as atheist at all. Where 40% might choose to follow his lead, another 40% confess to a faith not at all at odds with the finding of physics, bio-chemistry or cosmology. This ratio remains largely unchallenged over the past 100 years. The conclusion from science is clear; in no way can it be said it debunks the ‘spiritual’ mind. In fact there are significant problems with any such claim, and they spring first and foremost from cosmology: take the small but unavoidable matter of the cosmic constant and the uncannily prescient anthropic principles. And not least from bio-chemistry - we have yet to successfully computer model the emergence of life on Earth from their initial building blocks without some form of ‘informative inflation’ hypothesis. This posits an equally mysterious ‘self organisation’ as the only means for matter to overcome the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics in order to kick start evolution. Indeed this is not unlike Plato’s ideal ‘desiring’ some kind of ‘replication’ of potential form.

So in a sense when Richard D

One hears there's a lot of strange weather going on over in the states; snow in Virginia, heatwaves in Main? Here in Lincoln UK its been so warm and dry for the time of seasoning - spring has sprung with a fairly quickening and viscious jaw with temperatures up to 26C can we believe? The tiny pterosaurs fairly bursting with avid life, and the trees flush dusting with green in a few short lengthening days. Glory to Bratt hights!

Hope your happy and well and in fine finger plicking fettle? 8

Do you recall that night of toads? Driving back from Bratt's wise old Manner they were everywhere on the road - had to crawl and pick my way with care. It was a difficult drive, didnt want to hurt any of the magic we night sprites!

Don't worry about 'Let's Have Some...'s' frowned visitation. You know he likes to bait comfort's party. Have you checked out his 4th track? I like its scuzzy impulse-scuttle, a crepitating 3 foot sci-fi beetle scutting the hide drive. An internal episode of Mighty Boosh comes to mind, one not made yet - an achievement. So seth the 4th track!
Will return forthwith to peruse your sonic scripture, must away to Asda before the glories of the night retracts its strange delightful bloom - those wondrous creatures of the night that peak at 2am. Wish me luck! 8))
