About me: Oh, those were the days! Think back to Sunday evening after tea....taping the top 40! Well, your distant childhood dreams of pushing the play and record buttons on your ghetto blaster are going to fly back to you at ‘Tape The Top 40’.
Legend BARRY PETERS, from Halifax Hospital radio, hosts these sentimental shenanigans. It promises to be the best night out in years (since Barry’s own nights at Zany's Nightclub in Skipton and Corfu, circa 1986).
Dave Grogan (aka Russ from the head-spinning CUBAN BROTHERS), counts down the chart every month. With classics from the year you were born and beyond! Each month will be a different week in the charts from the 70’s to the 90’s. So, expect tracks from Boney M to Barbara Streisand and Madness to Madonna.
There are fun and games to be had and crazy competitions to be won. The special prize goes to the person who guesses who was number 1 at that time! Wow!

If you haven't heard the "NO GOOD E.P" then check it out now on our player... despite the title.. it is actually rather good... why don't you get a copy instead of an Easter egg this year?
Also.. we're pressing "Licensed to Dub" to vinyl.. we need preorders first as we're skint as you like and also want our fans to decide the B-SIDE... the choices are... Butchers Row or Il Padrino... or both? Can we fit both on a record?... drop us an email to lick@lickthewrap.com with your opinion!
Hi
Latest massive release on iBreaks BASS
Here we have the 5th issue of iBreaks Bass, welcoming onboard to MKM & GBX with this their first release under the iBreaks group…. And what a package…!! Surely this is the biggest, bassier, heavier, dancier release on the label so far with 2 ultra-large-full-fat enormous bass rollers.
“I Don’t think So” could prove one of the biggest tracks of 2008, and is one of those straight to the point full on Breakbeat mayhem, with no time to rest and just huge elements loaded with a ridiculous amount of energy and power. This track scared the hell out of us the first time we played it loud after being offered to us from the Brazilian duo… is heavy!!!
“Xtra Xtra” is by no means the little brother of “I Don’t Think So”. The energy levels are also well up to the top, although this time with a bit of a techier approach to the huge amounts of sub bass…
As a whole what we believe is the biggest release under the label, and one of the most powerful on iBreaks over all..
