Tara's Interests
General
I am a big law buff and enjoy forensics; in school drama was my favorite, there is no feeling like being someone else on stage. I also love going hiking in the mountains with my son.
Music
Trying to think of all the artists I like is just too difficult right now...so I'll just tell you what type of music I'm into...I like alternative rock and top 40; I also am a big fan of the oldies. I actually listen to all but rap, so really anything goes.
Movies
There are too many to name...I worked in a movie store for 3 years, so I got into a lot of films. The best movie I've seen recently has to be The Departed if you haven't seen it you MUST!
Television
My absolute favorite show of all times has to be Star Trek: The Next Generation; my favorite current show is Lost; I also like: Desparate House Wives, Grey's Anatomy, Las Vegas, Law & Order: SVU, Psych, Monk, American Idol, Dancing with the Stars, and many others I need my DVR box to remember. Oh yeah I also watch All My Children everyday (it's the only soap I watch and I've been watching all my life)
Books
I love Patricia Cornwell and all her Kay Scarpetta novels; I like the classics by Charlie Dikins, Edgar Allen Poe, Emily Bronte, etc. I also love writings by Wil Wheaton (also one of my favorite actors) you should read his blog www.wilwheaton.net and his books "Just a Geek" and "Dancing Barefoot"
Heroes
Shawn Kimmitz, he really inspired me when I was a teen, he will always be a friend and role model.
About me:
Okay, I'm not good at this, but let me try to sum myself up. I'm not a very outgoing person, so it takes awhile to get to know "me". I am a single mother and I love my son more than anyone else in my life. He is 2 now, and actually has turned from a cute little boy to a hyper monkey. He is so much like me it's scary. I have a great job as an accounting assistant. It allows me to make enough money to support Dave while giving me every weekend and lots of paid leave to be with him. After a bad couple years in my life I finally feel happy with where I am today. I won't be where I am if it were not for the support of my wonderful family. My mom and dad are my rock. I live with my brother, his wife, and their two kids. I am so greatful for everyone in my life. And I know my sister is greatful to have me around too.
