Tara Ellis is a Los Angeles based singer-songwriter. Her sexy swagger is breaking new ground with a sound she calls CLUB ROCK. She believes in empowering her audience with a new sound and something to talk about. Ellis says what everyone else is afraid to say, her truth is her voice. She has worked on a wide variety of projects, indie and commercial, including collaborations with Will I Am, The Procussions, Eve, Ghostface Killer, and Benny Cassette. Currently, she is working on a self produced Mixtape, a creative combination of great old school Hip Hop lyrics, acoustic guitar, 808, hard snares and pop melodies. Soon to release a CLUB ROCK album that incorporates programmed drums and edgy, true to self, lyrics. From wispy to raw, her powerful, dynamic vocals can mold to any genre, from pop-rock to R&B drawing inspiration from the White Stripes, Katy Perry and early No Doubt.
