MySpace is an ineffective means of contacting me. I read the emails, but they often get lost in the pages. If I haven't replied to you, that's probably why. The best way to contact me is at: tlc@taraleighcobble.com

Hi, I'm Tara-Leigh.
I'm a musician, songwriter, speaker, and author. You can listen to more of my music here.
I write articles for this magazine:
And for this one too:
My first book, Here's to Hindsight, is in bookstores nationwide, and my second book, Crowded Skies is available here. Yippee! I also write bios for people, like my friends Josh Wilson, Dave Barnes, and Matt Wertz. If you want me to write something like that for you (bio, review, article, etc.), drop an email to: info@taraleighcobble.com
Southern-born, New York City-based Tara Leigh Cobble has spent the past eight years building an indie empire, and it runs as fast and direct as a subway train. This spring she announces the release of a new book and album within months of each other. Crowded Skies: Letters to Manhattan is the follow-up to her first book, Here’s to Hindsight: Letters to My Former Self (RELEVANT), a spiritual memoir which prompted reviewers to hail her as “the female Donald Miller.” This summer, she released her sixth album, Playing Favorites.
TLC’s albums feature many of her friends and influences: Matt Wertz, Dave Barnes, Brandon Heath, Josh Wilson, Kemper Crabb, and members of Caedmon’s Call. As if that weren’t enough, the trifecta of noteworthy magazines for 20- and 30-somethings, RELEVANT, RELEVANT Leader, and Radiant regularly feature her articles. Last year found her contributing to The Voice (Thomas Nelson), The One Year Life Verse Devotional (Tyndale), and Songs From The Voice, Vol. II: Son of the Most High.
Whether playing, leading worship, or speaking at a conference, TLC has a phenomenal ability to disarm any audience with her quick wit and engaging stage presence. She casts a lasting impression amongst fans and critics alike and has participated in 1,700+ events for singles, college students, women’s groups, and youth groups across 42 states. And she’s only just begun.
Ft. Worth Star-Telegram: "Her lyrics often seem blazed together by a voice that holds comparison to Sheryl Crow."
Nashville Rage: "...edgier take on Natalie Merchant-style songwriting."
Christian Single: "[There are] many achievements that this indie veteran conveys on her latest [album] - a true must-have for acoustic rock / progressive folk aficionados."
Hey chickie- Are you at CBA? (or what ever it's called now.) Jay and I are just finishing building our new home - as in we hammered every nail ourselves. If you come to MNVU in the future, we have a guest room. :) If you didn't see - Kristy is married and moving to Arizonia on Monday! Life goes fast. Hope to see you sometime. Kelly
Hey Tara-Leigh, it's great meeting you!! Thank you very much for being a friend!! You have a incredible voice and your music is amazing! Keep on Rockin!
I miss YOUR face! Oh and, I emailed you via your website...but not at the tlc address. I think at the info or something. It was a good email though, so you should totally dig it up. ;-) AAAaaannnndddd...I'm totally going to buy all your books and cd's and maybe even a poster to hang above my bed. Josh will LOVE it! Ha! Speaking of Josh, I was sitting here listening to your page and he was like, "Who IS that?!?" I was like, "Tara Leigh" (in a very matter-of-fact-how-could-you-not-know-that kinda way) To which he responded "Really??....(long listening pause)....WOW."
SO. I know you don't want to be famous but we totally think you are. And you can't stop us.
And this was the longest comment ever.

Hi Tara-Leigh! :) I just wanted to tell you that I have really enjoyed reading both of your books. Your honesty and sense of humor make them fantastic! Plus, my mom loves them too. She just returned my copy of Crowded Skies...she borrowed it for a plane flight read. :)
I made the tail-end of the top 8. It's like being kicked out of the hall of fame, and then being asked to present at induction. Your blogs are awesome. Any chance that you would like to get married? Say, around the time people stop wishing you would stop writing blogs like that? Let me know, k. Miss you!
