LUNA NUEVA CD
Check out the blog here for more details.
With Luna Nueva I had the honor of exploring South Texas conjunto and especially the early classics including those sung by the first women of this tradition, particularly Lydia Mendoza. "Sigue Adelante" is one on this album that Lydia recording in the 20's. This album celebrates the legends of early Tex-Mex (even before the accordion!) I had so much fun arranging some of these pieces- for accordion, violin. I sang in the early dueto style on most of the songs with Gilberto (accordion, bajo sexto), and numerous special guests, including Santiago Jimenez, JR. Check it out! www.myspace.com/lalunanueva.

UFO guitarist Vinnie Moore says this about WildeStarr "Arrival".... "Dave and London open up a big ole can of melodic heavy metal whoop ass on this one. At times the tunes remind me a little of Dream Theater. Dave has made a great transition from bassist to guitarist. This CD definitely rocks heavily!"
Vicious Rumors guitarist Geoff Thorpe says.... "Its great to see Dave and London lay it down like this!! After working with Dave in Vicious Rumors for so many years I can't say I'm surprised at how great this new WildeStarr CD is. Dave has always been vary serious and focused and has transformed himself into a killer guitarist. London sounds like the new Queen of heavy metal vocals and the Arrival Cd flat out kicks ass!!! Dont be surprised if you see me on stage in WildeStarr on tour in 2010."
Metal guitar legend and virtuoso DAVID CHASTAIN says..... "WildeStarr 'Arrival' is the best debut release I've heard so far in 2009. Newcomer vocalist London Wilde gives a star making performance."
Michael Fischer from KNAC.COM says.... "WildeStarr “Arrival” is a Progressive Rock Masterpiece! Hands down this is the best record of 2009! WildeStarr has a sound and chemistry that rivals Mercyful Fate and Dream Theater and a presentation that stands alongside records like Queensryche’s Operation Mindcrime."

Hi Tara, thanks for your words and beautiful pictures and good to hear from you. I have a concert with Fata Morgana on Friday supporting Secret Chiefs 3. You should also visit one of their concerts or more when they're back in the US, everybody should. I'm so happy they're visiting Germany finally. By the way, why was the intro of "El Diablito" cut of? I think it built up a great atmosphere, but it is one of my favourite songs of yours anyways. Best wishes and always wonderful music around you (I'm sure you'll take care of that). Kind regards, Bu
