TARANTISM SOUND SYSTEM is the next logical progression for TARANTISM. Following the Remix album "Excursions into the Fluff Zone" the band decided to perform live interpretations of the remixes, using digital beats & live performance. This in turn led to new tracks written origionally for the Sound System set, some of which there are now band versions!!! Things have come full circle for a band who's first remit was to make dance music without technology.
TARANTISM SOUND SYSTEM was launched at the Synergy project at London's SEOne club in 2003 & have performed at Knochengorroch Festival, Strawberry Fair, The Big Sexy Festy Party & Sunrise Celebration amongst others. An album is planned for release in 2007, working title - ...musicismusic...
In addition to the Sound System Tarantism also perform two other sets as:
TARANTISM ACOUSTIC with traditional tunes & favourite songs for intimate venues or around the campfire.

This hour long mix i recorded last week (apx 10 sept), is a transitional journey through several genres or flavours of electronica. Starting of with a 4/4 structure i build up the technol sounds then take it of into something new: IDM following different rhythms - yet all connecting to make an unusual but thoughtful mix. One for the mind, it should provoke some cerebral activity!
hey there! Hope you had a blessed summer. I am coming back to London in a few weeks. I am playing in the SYNERGY PROJECT, in the SMALL WORLD stage, the 5th of October. I will be playing some new songs with a loop station... "Eagle Wings" and "I'm in the Dreamtime" some tunes in which I explore harmonies while trying to create oniric sceneries... Hope to see you there! I am thinking I am playing relatively early in the beggining of the night.
