Tracks from the Tara White CD have been popping up on radio stations and podcasts everywhere. Thanks to WAAF's Bay State Rock and WMFO-FM for playing TW, and the newly launched internet BGB Radio BostonGarageBands.com for keeping the band in hevy rotation. You can also hear TW on many cool podcasts, such as garagepunk.com's The Desperate Hour 25 tribute to the Abbey Lounge.
Full Length CD "In Goddess We Trust" AVAILABLE NOW
Tara White's new CD dropped at O'Brien's in Allston in November 2008. "In Goddess We Trust" is the first full length release of the band's 5 year history. Geoff Chase of Quick'n'Dirty Productions professionally recorded, mixed and mastered all 13 tracks in a style that sounds studio clean but retains the warmth and ambiance of a live performance. Guest musicians include Erica Owen and Bassam "Mighty Slim" Habal (vocals); Jeremy Woodruff (baritone sax) and Justin Groteleschuen (theremin). Tara White Live
Over the past couple of years, Tara White has played many of the well known music clubs in eastern New England, including Boston area clubs Middle East, TT the Bear's Place, Abbey Lounge, Midway Cafe, Church and O'Brien's in Allston, as well as Worcester's Lucky Dog and Salem's Dodge Street Grille. The band also performed live for WMFO-FM's long running music showcase "On the Town with Mikey Dee." In June, Tara White is visiting Dodge Street Grill in Salem and the Midway Cafe in Jamaica Plain.
Tara White is a Boston based rock band known for straight up, jam friendly alternative rock with a variety of styles, song lengths and sounds. Founded in 2003, Tara White is booking shows throughout the Northeast and picking up airplay on the radio and on the Internet. In the past year the band's sound has expanded to include acoustic sets and an eclectic selection of cover songs.
