She continued writing music and enrolled into the talent development project where she had a chance to work with the country singer Cole Joye. Tarisai was one of the top 12 contestants on Australia idol and was eliminated as the fifth contestant in the competition in 2007. While she was still in the competition she wrote songs based on the emotions she experienced during her idol journey. She is writing more songs and working on her next album with ARIA charting Producer Tom Williams which will be released on Tommirock Records in 2009.
