I am always seeking to improve myself. While I was trained in a Conservative Baptist Seminary, and spent some years in youth and men's ministries, I am still seeking answers to many seemingly unanswerable questions.... or at least unanswerable without the fail-safes of dogma and repetitive recitations of cold theology.

I have looked to my Christian-Paganism (now THERE's a conversation starter), Quantum Physics, the Dali Lahma, Christian Gnosticism and finally the Kabalah - which is less about organized religion, than it is about science, ethics, and reality. All-in-all for me, it's about tapping into the energy of the Universe.
I have always believed that Yeshua is the Light, but sometimes His light casts deeper shadows along my path than even He can illuminate...

When I give a consultation, I prefer - and generally always use - the Celtic Cross spread. I have found this spread of ten cards to be the best and eaiest to understand for general readings and inquiies for insight.

It was subsequently very interesting to learn that Portchester Castle has been long purported to have the ghost of of a Monk that roams it's walls. Take another look at the picture above...

About me:
No matter what your faith, the Tarot is simply a tool. God, the Universe, your Angels or Spirit Guides all have messages for you.
The Tarot helps shed light by reading the energies that influence your Life, sometimes its a mere snapshot, sometimes its a little bit more...
I have been reading tarot for about 20 years, off and on. I set my deck down many years ago, not to pick it up again until about a year ago when I was going through some personal difficulties. I claim no special insight or psychic ability, but I have been working very hard to hone my intuition, and I find myself amazed every time I lay down a spread for someone. I also believe that my experience with people has helped me define patterns in the cards, and help the person I am reading to clearly understand what the message in the cards is saying to them.
The cards don't lie, nor do they lead astray. Their accuracy as a "snapshot" of energies, influences and advice has been uncannily accurate, in my experience. The cards sometimes produce happiness and relief, and they sometimes produce tears and warnings to the querent. But they always provide an incredibly accurate view of the situation at hand.
I do phone & IM chat readings nearly every day.
I have always read for my friends, hoping to help them shed some light on a specific issue or period in their lives. For my close friends and family I have never asked a fee, as I have fumbled around with the debate over "profiting from a gift."
On Thursday evenings, at my home, I hold a weekly gathering of friends affectionately dubbed, Scotch & Cookies. At this gathering, I generally will read my friends during a two hour window in the evening. Outside of that time, I have found it necessary to ask for a small donation or some small token.
