TARRALYN'S BIO
"Life is a series of given moments, nothing ventured, nothing gained", is a cliché that Tarralyn has penned in her new song entitled Dreamer. This statement has become the essence of Tarralyns drive, and the fragrance of her dream and keeps her focused on what she is currently endeavoring and pursuing.
Having released a gospel album in 2000 and appearing on countless others gave Tarralyn a foundation in her music that said greater things lie ahead. In 2003, she was crowned Vh1 Born to Diva Winner and signed to music mogul Tommy Motollas new record company Casablanca/Universal.Tarralyn debuted on Vh1 Divas Duets in 2003 hosted by Queen Latifah and was announced the winner by Sharon Osbourne. It was a great honor for her to perform on the same stage as Beyonce, Ashanti, Lisa Marie Presley, Pat Benetar, Stevie Wonderful and countless other phenomenal artists. She released her self titled debut album in 2004, toured for Seventeen Magazine, Pantene, and appeared in numerous magazines from Vibe, Ebony, Essence, Seventeen, Pop Star and many more. Through out her career she has also toured and performed with various well known and even legendary artists. Ms. Ramsey did the "NO More Drama" tour with Mary J. Blige, performed with Ray Charles and Avant. Tarralyn has even serenaded the Heavy Weight Champion of the World Evander Holyfield.
Having been in the business now for about ten years, Tarralyn has moved into another phase of her career that is allowing her to be hands on and even more creative in every aspect of the music as well as the business. Following in the footsteps of a women whom Tarralyn admires very much and feels is the epitome of a black business woman/ entrepreneur, none other than Oprah Winfrey, Tarralyn has launched Tarprincel Entertainment Group ("TEG"), which houses a record, publishing, management and production company. She has made a natural progression from artist, singer, songwriter, producer and now CEO and President of her own company. Tarralyn is currently finishing her latest album which is written, produced, and arranged by her and is set to be released on her own record label this year. Tarralyn is currently also working on other entertainment ventures which we know will all be a success.
With wisdom beyond her years and guidance that you can't pay for, we know that Tarralyn is sure to follow the steps of Oprah Winfrey and sell albums and sell out arenas like Whitney Houston. Her talent and voice are astonishing, and in the words of Debra Norville from Inside Edition," Her voice is haunting -- it stays with you. This is why Sista Gurl do what we do, we are not afraid to talk about molestation. The staff of Sista Gurl was out spending the word of awareness about molestation. When some people hear what we have to say, they claim up, they didn’t want to hear anymore and walk away. Neatness to say most of those people who walk away have children somewhere nearby. There was one person who touched my heart that day. After a mother walked away from our booth a little girl I believed to be the woman’s daughter. She have to be somewhere around the age of 9 to 11. She stopped and asked me “what does molestation means?’ I give her a quick answer where I hope she understood where I was coming from. I replied “molestation mean when someone touch you where it make you feel uncomfortable “.The little girl gave such a disgusting look. We was blown away that she never hear of the word molestation or she didn’t know what it meant. I say all of this to say, parents please take time to talk to your babies about this topic, MOLESTATION. Those talks may save your children’s life. See blog - The church is about to fail and alienate abortionistas like we have failed homosexuals. The gospel is inclusive! God knows the babies being aborted prior to being formed in the womb but how many of our own involved in wars are quitting because innocent children gets killed? Did God not know these before conception too? Are christian doctors quitting to care for soldiers engaged in a war that kills children? Whose tax monies are funding these wars? Are pastors quitting based on the divorce rate in the church? Whose monies are funding the incarceration of young and often innocent men instead of educating them? Are christian lawyers quitting? Why don't these doctors offer to counsel these people and with the church see if they can work out a way to save the babies? Why do we always look for the easiest way out? Get in position and hold your ground! Quitting is not the answer! This, is the battle that we have been called to fight so abort your plan to go AWOL! If you are in the battle for the Lord and right, keep on the firing line. God will only use a soldier He can trust! We must fight, be brave against ALL evil! Never run or look behind. Instead of going on christian stations to open your gobs and talk impractical nonsense, use the monies for the horses, private jets, no heated swimming pool for 6 months, sell one of the expensive cars, avoid clothing and shoe stores for 3 months, go on a diet if you have to and use those monies to build buildings for these children who those women wanted to abort and we take care of them. Who is ready to show compassion, make real sacrifices, get their hands in the mess and put the light of Christ back on? Who? Bless God for Pastor Tommy Barnett. We christians need to STOP EXPECTING a sinful world to live the life that we saved should be living! How many of these abortions are being done by christians women?? Anybody....??
