GeneralIndependent Media, Social/Political/Electoral grassroots organizing/activism. ..

Music(new) Glasvegas, (new) Bon Iver, Amy Winehouse, Radiohead, Echo & Bunneymen, U2, Siouxsie, The Cure, David Bowie, Tones on Tail, Joy Division, New Order, The Pretenders, Cocteau Twins, The Replacements, Violent Femmes, The JAM, Style Council, B-52s, Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Tori Amos, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Moody Blues, Supertramp, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, Sonic Youth, Low, Tori Amos, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Alice Cooper, James Brown, Al Green, Marvin Gaye, Sade, Sex Pistols, Ramones, Talking Heads,The Smiths, Depeche Mode, Nirvana, Hole, Bach, Vivaldi, Mozart, Beethoven, (I said I was eclectic...I could go on forever here ;) I strongly encourage you all to search "Death in June" in the myspace forum environment as there are many songs to be heard by them as imposters post their music this way (for all you goths out there). Like the genre's of goth and industrial...
MoviesNewest current recommended (4/15/09)of Netflix movie I've watched recently: Just watched "Things We Lost in the Fire"...great flick...touched me deeply. Also recommend: "The Curiosity of Chance"...great for a gay teen trying to face themselves and the world and somewhat funny too (main character reminded me of the lead singer for the BLOW MONKEYS). Also, "Two Days in Paris"...cracked me up when they had the meltdown by the river towards end of flick...so real and a 1 long take. "The Bucket List"...get some tissues; "ONCE" great flic...excellent soundtrack. Moby Dick (the old one with Gregory Peck...hee hee Okay so there are others too) how about that Saturday Night Fever, the Graduate or maybe the epics. Anything with Katherine Hepburn in it. Also, liked Hedwig and the Angry Inch or Velvet Goldmine. Of course "V" for Vendetta! I like the Turner Classic Movie channel (TCM) for those late night insomnia marathons...Dr. Kildare & Dr. Gillespie (The late Barrymore) is my favorite grumpy old dude. .. Mostly, I'll watch anything if it has a storyline and some redeeming qualities...I also like the independent genre and foreign genres.
TelevisionHere's something cool...I used to love this show.

Krofft Kwikies - Land of the Lost "Sleestak God"

Otherwise, not much good going on there cept for Democracy Now! with Amy Goodman and ocassionally an educational show. Old re-runs of the "Waltons" on the "Hallmark" channel...great for late night nostaglia feeling. There should be a place that says "what do you do/see on your television"? i.e. "gamers". Recommend Morrowind and the now Oblivion book in the elderscrolls by Bethesda softworks. One of the best graphic engines ever created...storyline is interesting. Also have access to netflix so viewing choices of movies are a little more accessible and pre-determined. Recently watched all the available episodes of L-Word (showtime production through netflix)...not bad :) Also, have recently watched "Who Killed the Electric Car", "Freedom to Fascism" and many other great independent documentaries through netflix access. Watch the news channels to see how far off base they are most the time and how much time they waste on "weather" and stupid mean nothing stories. Corporate controlled mass media sucks! ..
BooksWell I used to read alot more than I do now. How about some Wilhem Reich "Listen Little Man: The mass psychology of fascism", or perhaps..."Stranger in a strange land"(Robert Heinlien) or maybe of course "Catcher in the Rye". I admit I have read all the Harry Potter series todate. More undergroundish "Museum of Love". I used to volunteer at a Books to Prisoners chapter and wow what an experience to read the letters from the inmates and try to send them something (what they want if we had it but something that would suffice if we didn't). I encourage all to volunteer for a Books to Prisoners chapter in your area. Most folks that are incarcerated are incarcerated on drug "crimes" which are basically part of the class war. Evenso everyone deserves to be able to try to rehabilitate their spirit and mind through reading. ..
HeroesMartin Luther King Jr, Jesus (the first progressive hippie to get noticed), Joan of Arc, John Lennon, the Suffragates, and all the ordinary folks who no one knows about but they do the good stuff all the time...especially those who continue to struggle against there own oppression against the seemingly stacked card game.

About me:

Perhaps as a kid you were like me...you stayed in your room and listened to your favorite music in your headphones...experiencing great depth of emotion these songs evoked (yeah back before there were videos we made our own in our minds...feeling all the world could offer and sometimes to the point of tears rolling down one's face from being moved with emotion)...I will be sharing for awhile here the songs that moved me into places of great emotion...and by the way I still do listen in the dark with my headphones on to music as I make my own videos in my mind to this day. Thanks to all these great musicians for helping me feel not so alone in my apparent aloneness as I was coming up in my teenage years to adulthood.

Hey while you are at it check out the rest of the menu songs. Word up, I suspect you can only look at other menu songs for this artist if you are logged into your myspace account & also noticed if you click onto the left side or right side of frame you may get a menu of more songs by the artist if the menu drop bar seems to not work. In this instance I HIGHLY recommend that you check out the other videos by clicking to the right side of the frame...much good stuff to hear & see! (you may want to try double-clicking as well on the right side if you keep getting the same video...there is more!...and they change from day to day on the menu bar I have noticed/clicking on right side of frame)

Palestine perhaps the Lord of Hosts is listening...I know I am...Solidarity

Here's the real deal we know the truth about the Jewish folks (Zionist in power...not all Jewish folks but enough to be influential & I'm not talking racist KKK or nazi shit here hey Zionism is racism) and the Arabs who are, by the way, not all terrorists. You bellicose folks need to check it at the door of the "great what is" ...shall I speak the name YAWEH! We are all one on the blue planet and you men children need to check yourselves! Woman and Man are EQUAL! Stop the fighting and killing of your offspring! Mohammed and Jesus were great prophets and for those of you in Judaism there is one prophesied to be coming who will close the deal. Stop the killing of your mother's children and learn the ways of peace. If you hate the West that is all well and good but remember there are many gentile souls and Islamic souls living here who understand....PEACE and communication is the answer not killing and revenge. We are blessed by the great "What Is" on our blue planet and the true sin is denial of this understanding and the knowledge of our human family. I testify to you Jew, Arab, Gentile and Agnostic...I heard the voice as I saw my silver thread. "Everything IS Everything" and I felt great comfort as I felt the sense of "but how do I share what I have heard"...I knew the love was greater than the hate. Get it together all you of "Mankind" who are so busy terrorizing "Womankind" we are all here together on the blue planet together and yes there is an entity in the void. Time to get it together and stop the exploiting of those that are looked at as less than...due to centuries old suspicious ideas of power. Let the true shine and let the poor be relieved. Begin to show true stewardship of the planet and become a true blue planet community without archaic repression.

Me I'm Eclectic, Radical as in from the "root" to the "root" I think we have all been here before...yeah I believe in reincarnation and I believe we are trying to work it all out. Interested in re-connecting to past pals/lovers and making new contacts. This is our dance in sun lets resolve and love our changes. Lets build an anchor of "what's real and good" No Dark Things! (i.e. Echo & Bunnymen) I'm very interested in the next 30 to 40 years as this is probably how long my life may be if the great "what is" sees fit...perhaps even longer who knows. I look forward to many new life experiences and many moments of awesome intimacy and commitment if it is in the cards. I am content to continue on my path of work to help humanity irregardless (with or without a partner). However, it would be nice to walk through time with another special chic. That being said, the bottom-line is...I will hoe my row no matter what...but hey "great what is" bring me my lover chic!

Enjoy the Playlist music here and please come Check out My Own Music at http://www.myspace.com/holydork If you are a musician or a band please do friend requests [ADD TO FRIENDS] at my music myspace for HolyDork band site. Thanks:)

Thank you Terri ( or would you prefer Taryn?). Your words and the feelings behind them are wonderful, even if they did make me cry.
Truth is, you are right, I haven't been my whole true self except for moments in the last 25 years.
Thank you again, I take to heart what you said. Can I dance naked in the sun? LOL Wow, I guess I would have to get to my 'naked' soul self to do that. Scary.
Love you too!

Yah, it was in June. I had to go to Texas for work though, so I couldn't go. Didn't really want to either...too fat! LOL.. But then, I lost about 25 lbs in Texas, so I would go now. LOL NOT!
Do you think anyone in High School really, truly felt socially accepted? I know I didn't most of the time. Weird, eh?
