I love to write and help others discover answers to their problems. I can proudly state that my book on employment rights had people stopping me and they thanked me for making it easier for them to protect and preserve their rights on the job.
Here is my pick of the 15 sexy men who stole my heart - a few will surprise you.
I loved my grandmother, who died when I was ten; I loved my mother who hated me. And, I love every one of my fifteen brothers and sisters - even though we don't talk much anymore, and they don't invite me to family events. Even when I learned I had a tumor on my throat (non-cancerous) my family didn't care. I live pretty much as a hermit, alone, writing, missing my sons who are grown; and expressing myself through words and utter (sometimes) loneliness...It's okay.
Music
I am really liking Jennifer Hudson and Keyshia Cole. Oldies: Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Mary J. Blige, Mary Mary. I love all rap music. Yes, even 50 year old people can enjoy rap. Enjoy Jennifer Hudson. Relax, and enjoy Keyshia Cole's latest hit: You Complete Me.
Shari Addison's Music is Angelic. I can't get enough of
her new self-titled CD. Enjoy
A Tribute ...Shari Addison Sings for Michael Jackson
R.I.P. MR. MICHAEL JACKSON - MUSICAL ICON
Movies
Boys N' the Hood is one of my favorite flicks of all time. Imitation of Life, (with Lana Turner). Changeling, Gone With the Wind, (for being groundbreaking). Hattie McDaniels won her Oscar! Check out her amazing speech
at the Academy Awards. She is the First African American ever to win an Academy Award from the Motion Picture Industry:
NEW: Invincible and Waiting to Exhale!
I Love You Fuzzy...Remember when we cut school to go see Superfly? This is for you Fuzzy, with your Bobby Brown looking, beautiful self. Remember this scene? You told mother you wanted a coat like Flys. LOL
Favorite writers is a tribute to those who have influenced my own writing in significant ways. My unofficial pick took hours to comprise - and, is in no way the definitive list to all. Each writer's contributions have in some way affected individuals towards enlightment and or self-discovery or positive change. Enjoy. The music selection is Marvin Gaye: Whats Going On.

Television
I love American Idol; House Hunters, CNN, E Television - especially the biographies; and of course the Food Network Channel. I like the cute guy DAVE DOES; Ina Garten is the best cook on the show. Tried her Peanut Butter and jelly Cookie dessert; best I ever had; Paula Deen's okay. Rachel
Ray has a tendency to undercook beef and overuse olive oil!
American Idol has blessed us with Adam Lambert! Whether Adam wins or not - this flash back to Elvis excites me! Take a look at these pics. So glad to be a woman with men like this on the planet!!!!
Here is another great performance from Adam all!
