My influences are a mixed bag and I have just about been influenced by everything other than disco from the 80's (I think I went to sleep during the eighties!) all the bands mentioned have had an impact on me during my life at sometime or another. If I have to name names then in Chronological order then it would be ... Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, Hawkwind, Sex Pistols, The Stranglers, Venom, The Cult, Sisters of Mercy, Metallica, Placebo, Nightwish, Feeder, Lacuna Coil, Rammstein, Sevendust, Greenday .... and I continue to be influenced!!

Well, Im fairly narrow-minded. I like bands from the 70s & 80s, mainly The Jam, Joe Jackson, The Police, A-ha etc

My musical influences include Santana , Van Halen , Diamond Head , Metallica , Iced Earth and Slayer
Taser are currently a four piece band that hail from Hartlepool and surrounding area and was formed in the autumn of 2005.
The band consists of Julia Burgess on drums, Dave Robinson on bass, Derek Jones on guitar and Andy Tayler on guitar.
We are currently looking for a new vocalist.
The music is best described as a blend of melodic rock with a heavy edge.
The various influences that each member brings to the band have helped in defining Tasers sound.
Tasers aim originally was solely for members and friends enjoyment, however, encouragement from our local rehearsal facility (Pig pen Studios) has made us broaden our horizons and if other people get enjoyment from listening to us then that is a bonus!
Now then Andy! Nah, I've been with mySpace for a while now what with me being all tech-savvy like you, but never really bothered with it til now. Are you doing Pig Pen this year? Really enjoyed your set last year and would love to see you perform again... and lets face it, the weather has GOT to be better this time around!!!
