Hello everyone and welcome to My space! My name is Tasha LaRae. I was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska (and proud of it!) I graduated from Benson High School Class of '99, then moved to Atlanta, GA where I currently reside.
I am a singer/songwriter and a vocal coach. I travel the world doing what I love to do - SING!! I sing background for several artist including (but not limited to) Tracy Hamlin, The Hudson on Bass Band, Tiffany Deonna Martin, Gina Darby, and Rhonda Thomas.
I've had the privilege of sharing the stage with a wide range of artist from Jazz greats George Benson, Al Jarreau, George Duke, and Norman Brown to Hip Hop's hottest like T-Pain, Young Joc, Fat Joe! Others include Canton Jones, Vickie Winans, Tremaine Hawkins, Maysa (Incognito), Joey Summerville, William Green, Ryan Kilgore, Ken Ford, Eric Roberson, PJ Morton, Algebra Blessett, and the list goes on!!
Currently, I have the pleasure of sharing the stage with 2x Grammy Award Winning group, Arrested Development as the new lead female vocalist! (sing it with me, "Tennessee..."!)
I am truly blessed :) I love what I do. That's what I'm all about- Living life to the fullest- surrounded by the people that matter most.
What do I want my musical audience to get from my music? THE FIRE LIT UNDER THEIR BUTTS TO STEP OUT AND DO WHAT THEY KNOW THEY'VE BEEN CREATED TO DO!! :) Life is too short to sit wondering, "What would have happened if..." Just do it!

It’s been well over a year since I last recorded something new my friend, but it’s that time again. I posted a new original song called “Forever No Restraints.” It's the frist song on the Myspace music player.
I refer to it as cosmic blues.....but blues it ain't. I used to do this song as a short solo acoustic piece, but I decided to turn it into a lengthy electric guitar jam and let my freak flag fly!
It has a strong Hendrix vibe, but is uniquely me….. Please drop by my page and have a listen! I also posted a video of me doing the song as I recorded it, so even if the music player isn't working, you can check the song out in the video.
