Tassell are a five-piece anglo-french group that specialise in the creation of soaring pop tunes hung with hooks that just won't let go. But they don't stop there; atmosphere is their bag and bags of atmosphere is what adorn their songs. Old Marc Tassell's now-frail, now-triumphal voice, Gonzague Octaville's anchor-steady bass, Julien Dayan's tinkling piano riffs and Augustin d'Assignies' impressive Rhodes-and-effects empire all recline on the sturdy sophistication of Antoine Fournier's drumming.
Damn! There's a little of everything in here: hints of rock, tints of melodramatic ballads, the odd taste of something jazzy, plain pop, crumby croonerisms, pure empty ambiance, heartfelt soul and more, yet it's all seamlessly woven into something oddly - dare I say it? - unique. A collection of kaleidoscopic tales from an unearthed book.

It's an epic instrumental opus to the moment when our ancient Dino relatives saw a large fiery object plummeting towards them.
