I think it's shit that we must be defined by labels. Then again, there really isn't any other way to describe yourself, so here goes:
I'm the founder of the music blog GIRL ON TOP REVIEWS. * I've got Scots-Irish roots that I'm very proud of. * I live for life changing experiences, whether it be through music, art, literature, or through other people. * Most people are be surprised at how low key I am. I'm not a partier & usually, I'd rather be home reading than out to a bar. * The Who is the greatest band that has ever graced this planet. You will never convince me otherwise, so don't try. Their music is euphoria, utopia, and trascendence all rolled into one. * I'm a procrastinator. I need rehab. * It pisses me off that so many shitty bands get signed by the industry these days just because their pretty, plastic faces look good on a CD jacket. I know plenty of ugly fuckers that can sing like angels & whose lyrics are poetry, but no one wants to hear their music. This is why I hate the industry. * I have a secret obsession with bluegrass music. I loathe country music, but bluegrass lives in my soul. * I used to be a music major (vocal) until I realized how cut throat you have to be to get anywhere. That's just not me. So now I write about music. It's cheap therapy. * I've always dreamed of fronting a jazz/blues band. I idolize Ella Fitzgerald & Sarah Vaughn. * Yes, I'm a music snob. If I think your music's crap, I'll tell you. Don't ask unless you want the truth. * Gay men love me. End of story. * I find it kind of weird & funny that anyone thinks my opinion matters or has any creedance to it. * Family is a big deal to me. * I ride an acid green bike named the Green Hornet. It's rad. * I am really big on lyrics. If I don't like your lyrics, even if your music is good, I probably won't add you. * If you want to know more, send me a message:
