If Fiona Apple, Ryan Adams and Jeff Buckley had a threesome and made a happyish baby...maybe Willie Nelson could be like a grandpa there... maybe some other stuff too..
..Tatiana Moroz is a ballsy woman with lofty aspirations in a world of blasé female singer songwriters. Her voice is rich and unique, and her style of music has never been properly categorized. Its blend of pop, rock, country, jazz, folk, and blues creates a sincere and memorable sound that's pure Tatiana. She is an embodiment of the new American singer-songwriter.
Also a guitarist, Tatiana started her musical studies early on. She attended one of the country's most prominent contemporary music schools, Berklee College of Music, where she studied jazz, vocal performance, and music business, and played with a variety of ensembles in many Boston area venues. While at Berklee, she spent a semester in Florence, Italy. It was during these years that she began writing her own songs and refined her performance skills. On returning to NY after graduation, Tatiana worked at some of the city's top recording facilities, such as Avatar, Chung King Studios, and Quad Studios, where she learned the ins and outs of the recording process and the music business.
Her influences include Jeff Buckley, Ryan Adams, Nina Simone, Billie Holiday, Gun's and Roses, Cat Stevens, Ella Fitzgerald, the Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Carly Simon, Fiona Apple, Prince, Violent Femmes, Radiohead, Nirvana, and more. Currently, Tatiana is performing at a variety of Northeast venues, ranging from nightspots in Manhattan to the bars of New Jersey. She is releasing her full-length, self-produced album of 12 original songs in September 2009. If you're sick of the same old generic assembly line singer-songwriter, if you're down and want something real, if you're looking to book a show that will move your audience .... turn to Tatiana.
To new and old friends alike, thanks for stopping by and for showing your support. I hope you enjoy the music!
Well, at the moment I'm on holiday. I go to Canada for a month at the end of july to do a language course. Oh it's nearly 40ºC here, it's horrible. How are things with you? I guess you're going on with music.
Very cool news about your album!! I hope to get a copy for the show. Things are well here. On vacation down the shore. I'm not on the air this Sunday (7.5.09.) but back next week. Happy 4th of July, Tatiana! :)

good morning Tatiana <3 it's very nice hearing from you! I'm sure happy for the weekend=we had our state math exams for the kids this week, and I was really tired for most of the week (maybe from spring forward? lol). Anyway, I'm praying gor a quiet weekend at home. I'm playing with my xbox 360 now. What about you? I would love to see you sing again sometime soon-maybe if you do a show nearby, or at your mom's place (it's in NJ, isn't it?). Have a great weekend, Tatiana-chat soon xoxo
