Bio

I am a coloratura soprano.
My latest concerts were "Lieder!" (with F. Schubert, Robert and Clara Schumann songs), "Alma Brasileira" (Villa-Lobos music only), "Arie Antique", "Art Songs" (R. Strauss, Rachmaninoff, Dell´Acqua, etc) and the most successfull one, which was "Baroque Sacred Arias" (Bach, Handel, Pergolesi). This concert happened only once and it was sold out. Even though some people think a recital with the romantism opera arias would attract a great audience, I believe that good music is what can attract people. When there was no chair left, we saw more people coming and standing on their feet. It was really great to see how they loved it, so I hope to present this concert again and include some Vivaldi on the repertoire.

Other projects:
❂ From 2010-2012 I was the vocalist of the Canadian based symphonic metal band "Thy Celic Cross". When I told the guitar player I could no more be part of the band, unfortunatelly he decided it was the end of it.

❂ I contributed vocals to Andre Tavares' progressive metal project "The Genesis Experiment" in the album "A new beginning", in which I play the role of the Girl.

The Genesis Experiment

The forthcoming album "The New Beginning" had collaborations from several musicians. It`s a metal opera with 11 singers, each one a character of a huge conceptual story. Further info on the site: http://www.myspace.com/thegenesisexperiment
