My Name is Jake La Botz. I learned how to play blues from legends like Robert Johnson compadre "HoneyBoy" Edwards in my hometown Chicago. Hung out in the punk scene of the early 80's...dropped outta school...stole a couple of cars...wound up in L.A. in the late 90's playing in a Black Baptist Church in South Central and tattoo shops like Gill Montie's Tattoomania and Mark Mahoney's Shamrock Social Club...I act in films (see the trailer for Rambo below or check out imdb).
I'm the only musician who tours at tattoo shops.

4TH ANNUAL TATTOO ACROSS AMERICA TOUR (2009)
In 2006 history was made when me and a group of tattoo artists created the 'tattoo circuit'...the first and only time a musician has toured at tattoo shops.
As far as I know I'm still the only guy who totes a guitar around the U.S.A. (and Europe) playing tattoo shops...
I'll be on the road for the month of August/September 2009 playing some of the most interesting tattoo studios in America...

He was not only acting alongside notables such as Willem Dafoe, Danny "Machete" Trecho, Sylvetser Stallone, Scarlett Johansson and Mickey Rourke but also sings the blues that gets in your bones and rides you for days! Jake is the modern day Hank Williams, as Steve Buscemi figured it.

The presence of the clock gave birth to the notion that time lies outside our bodies - that it can be tracked by a machine, and that we can sit and watch it "fly" by tick-tock as though it is something linear, containable, and separate from the organic, flowing process of life.
