About me:

.... Born in Traverse City, MI on December 18, 1954, Gill "The Drill" Montie has traveled all over the United States since the beginning of his tattooing career in 1974.

"I grew up between Detroit, Chicago, and Southern California. I became interested in tattoos in 1969 and began poking them in by hand. I joined the Marine Corps in 1971 and got out in 1973. I started an apprenticeship in 1974 in Southern California with Doc Dog and never turned back. I've tattooed all over the world the last 35 years."

Tattoo Mania originated in Hollywood, California in 1990 and relocated to Beaumont, Texas in 2001. Tattoo Mania is a shop that takes pride in its work and is a great place to get a quality tattoo or become a tattooer.

Shop employees include tattooer/piercer, Shane Montie, and tattooers, Johnny Johno, Kristopher Waldrep, and Cory Jordan. Also, be on the lookout for regular guest spots by tattooers such as Camille Cline and Waylon Hart.

We have a $40 minimum on tattoos, but if you want your hand, foot, neck, or face tattooed the minimum is $50.

You MUST be 18 years of age or older to receive a tattoo. You MUST be able to present a valid, government issued, positive identification card including, but not limited to, a driver's license, passport, or military identification. The identification must contain your photograph and printed date of birth.

A minor may receive a piercing ONLY with a parent/guardian present. Both the minor and parent/guardian must be able to present a valid, government issued, positive identification card. In case of differing last names or addresses, the parent/guardian must be able to provide evidence of status as parent/guardian.

To book appointments come into the shop (locals) or give us a call (out of towners). We book appointments for Tuesday-Thursday only. Of course we make exceptions for special circumstances. Walk-ins welcome anytime!!!
