Tis the season to CHEER - GO EAST COAST NITROS HEROES AND SPARKLERS!!! My family is very important to me... alone time with my husband (REAL alone time ... Punta Cana was fabulous!) ... cooking (tho I'm not one to particularly follow recipes - oopsie) ... anything that my kids are doing ... taking pictures (a/k/a photography lol)... reading ... writing ... music ... movies ... tattoos ... horses ... driving around aimlessly for hours listening to music (oh wait, that was BEFORE kids ..) ... day trips to Chincoteague with "Mar Tarr"

About me: I WAS a legal administrative assistant (a/k/a attorney slave) but now I'm just hangin at tha hood with tha fam ... I love to edit and proofread ... Down Syndrome is NOT a disease so please don't look at me with those "oh, I'm so sorry" eyes when you find out I have a child with Down Syndrome. They're just as great or bratty as any other child, trust me. I believe that versatility, NOT variety, is the spice of life. There are no such things as greener pastures - IF you are bored then fix it ... the sun rises and sets the same in everyone's backyards so enjoy the view from your own. Yes, this is from experience.
I love to drive my lil P.O.S. Ford Focus ZX4. And ya know what? If it was a little Gremlin, I'd love it all the same. All I need is a kicka$$ stereo and some time and I'm good to go. (Duh, of course I'd love to have a Shelby Cobra, who wouldn't, but they aren't exactly family-friendly now, are they?!!).
I have many friends - some are very close and stay in touch no matter what's going on. That's purposeful. I have a family that has to be number one in my life ... I have little time for everyone else's drama; especially if it's not reciprocated. Please don't misconstrue - I care deeply and truly about all of my friends but at some point prioritization is key. I'm not a high maintenance friend and don't hang with high maintenance people. I'm married with children and my time is precious. Networking is great as long as it's not overwhelming. I'm sure you understand. Wow, that was totally bitchy, wasn't it?!!! SORRY! :-P

I have my fair share of tattoos and ain't close to done yet - get over it. I love tattoos (well, the good ones cuz let's face it, there are some pretty sh#tty artists out there ... go see Shane O'Neill, BJ Betts, Joe Capobianco, Dave Fox, Seth Ciferri, Josh Hoffman. Some of the smartest individuals I know are tattoo artists (including my husband). I, too, used to be a stereotypical skeptic but never again. Talk about a hard lesson learned. Open your minds, people ... it's INK, not anthrax. BODY ART ROCKS!
I love to cook ... cooking makes ME happy ... if you're my friend and want me to make you a special dish, just ask! I'm a nurturer by nature so making people happy makes ME happy. Don't go gettin all greedy, tho - dang.
