Taught the Rabbits was formed in the fall of 2001 under the songwriting of singer/guitarist Adam Faucett. The band came about when M. Edwards aka "The Kid" attended one of A. Faucett's solo shows at a local venue. Though The Kid and Faucett were complete strangers at the time, the young drummer insisted that Faucett come to his garage and start rehearsing as a band. Within a week of meeting one another, The Kid and Faucett played their first show under the odd name Taught the Rabbits with friend J. Sheppard on guitar and keys. The show was quite shakey and plenty weird but local guitarist Matt Pearson was impressed enough to step out of the dark far corner of the show and declare himself bassist.
Soon after the first show, TTR recorded their first EP "One but just Another ". J. Sheppard was unable to stay a member, so A. Faucett approached yet another stranger Ryan Robinett to fill the gap with his lush loud guitar hitting. Our heros have since been playing long story-esk sets and finishing their full length LP due summer '05.
