   About Taunton River Folk Festival
The Taunton River Folk Festival is a 501C(3) organization formed to promote live folk music and the arts in Greater Taunton, MA originally formed as a benefit for the Taunton River Watershed Alliance (www.savethetaunton.org). The Festival's theme is unifying music, community and environment to increase awareness and stewardship of our precious watershed area. And to keep the lore and practice of traditional American music alive and kicking! Performers in the Festival all participate in workshops, panel discussions and jam sessions, in the spirit of “front porch” music … the very essence of the folk tradition.

Taunton River folks:

Thanks for finding us on MySpace. Thanks also, and probably more importantly, for keeping music alive and real. May this year's festival be more successful than any that if preceded.

My Dear New Friend,

Thank you so much for introducing me to your circle of friends.

What a wonderful lineup of so many talented and amazing performers that will be playing at your festival! I can't thank you enough for seeking me out to share such joyous treasures, except to add bravo!!!

Wishing you happiness and tranquility in all things.

Here's a peaceful scene which I photographed myself, not far from where I live, to add to your local Bristol County greenery, as a souvenir upon which to reflect, and for good luck.

Cheers,

Joel
