TAURUS'S JUST RECIEVED AN AWARD SONG "EYES"
WHO I AM
Started on the stage at the age of 3 as a dancer tap ballet the usual stuff of the performance world. This included Pantermimes stage shows,. My mother was a performer as in opera Soprano, sister and brother were dancers too.
I Needed at the age of 9 to perform in a show called Gypsy rose lee. as baby june. So off to singing lessons I went. My first concert for singing was quite different to dancing i had to just stand there with a microphone and sing.
Which took my concerntrating straight to the faces of all the audiance, (Well the words freeze came to mind and so I did)...I forgot my words. but suddenly there was another yong girl on the side of the stage who had the same teacher as me was sitting there eating i think twisties her name is Tina Arena who is now well known, she new the words of the song because it was ABBA and started to sing and coach me from the side lines and saved the day.
Then i grew up experienced lifes ups and downs, some old friend turned up and gave me a guitar (a left handed one mind you) so I compremised.
He taught me three chords and i just sat at home on my spare time taught myself how to play chords. Next minite I was writing songs about life I suppose mine others. They say when you have bad days its a great time to write (this could be true) I kept this music to my self until one day i played to someone in my kitchen and they just said do some thing about its your passion and they were right. I sing from my heart because thats the only way i know how.
I now have a great band of guys who share my passion and its so uplifting my dog Jackson is the only one least impressed with the music he puts his paws over his ears. I thank every one who has heard my music and the lovely comments i have had......but I must say still when i perform live my legs still shake on the first song.....but I remeber my words after all i wrote them. Hello Sweetie! Well...I try very hard to be optimistic, but actually, life still sucks for me, lol! It's cool...I roll with it! Heard back from Mikey last week after sending him good cheer...He's down on Myspace these days...disillusioned (crap! did I spell that right...don't look like it, but I'm to lazy to spell check at the moment, lol...hehehe!)...never got a reply to his reply. Sad...I love Mikey, he's a good man and I miss his friendship... Posted a blog on V day on my other page...a half finished song that popped in my head for my husband...go see!
