Taxi was founded during the summer of 2006, when singer Chris Whisper, Steve Adam, Spiky and Robert Youngblood decided to make some music and bring back some Rock n’Roll to the stage. Since then they regularly rehearsal once a week in one of the many rehearsing rooms of the Rockhal in Esch-sur-Alzette.
The band name came up spontaneously because of the idea to mix up different forms of music styles into our music. It could be compared as a ride in Taxi trough different cities. Taxi has since then composed 14 original Songs. Their first concert was being held on June, 21th at the Café “Big Ben” in Dudelange/Luxembourg where the band showed that they could also do good live shows.
On July 7th 2007, Taxi hit the big note with a magnificent performance at the “Newcomers on Stage-Festival” that was held in the “Aaler Seeërei” in Diekirch/Luxembourg. The Luxemburgish show band “Los Infernales”, who had been in the audience during Taxis first gig in Dudelange, asked them to play again during their “Summerfest” who was also held in Dudelange on August 25th 2007.
Then, Taxi decided to put some more time in writing new material. In February 2008, Taxi entered the Rockhal-Studio to record a first official Demo Tape in order to promote their music. Today, Taxi is our dream that came true...

Hello les amis, nous approchons de la date du 08 novembre 2008 est le jour de mon concert "VOYAGE DANS L'UNIVERS DE CLAUDE FRANCOIS" cela sera une superbe soirée à laquelle j'ai invité sur scène un de mes amis chanteur et collaborateur FREDERIC LAMORY qui chante des chansons de sa composition sur des rythmes sud américain et brésilien, puis il y aura mon ami JEAN MICHEL LELEU parolier et ventriloque, bref une superbe soirée.
