Lead singer, sex bomb, and all around pro, Dhana is a mesmerizing, live action, dancing queen with a pretty, crisp voice and an enchanting accent that's one part German, one part Spanish, one part UK, and twenty two parts fairy dust. Part German/part Spanish singer Dhana Taprogge looks born to be a pop-star. That's exactly what happened when five worlds collided. A mutual producer friend spearheaded the initial introduction of ultra-hot European lead singer Dhana and LA local producer/keyboardist Gregg. Shortly after, followed the discovery of drummer Jason, guitarist Matt and bassist Brian. Named after the bouncy dolls seen in the back of taxicabs, Taxi Doll was formed to bridge the gap between pop-rock and electronic music. Inspired by a mix of Garbage, Chemical Brothers and Blondie, the band quickly popularized a sound that is often referred to as "Rocktronica". "We've been so lucky to have all come together so quickly. I know it can take a long time to form a band, but we all love the same bands, Depeche Mode, Goldfrapp, Blondie, No Doubt, Garbage, etc. We used to meet on Melrose to hang out and talk about music, I guess you could say Taxi Doll was formed there." Taxi Doll is a multi Billboard Dance Chart topping Electronic/Pop project that has been getting International airplay and has been featured in films and TV shows such as: The Hills (MTV), 90210 (CW), The Good Wife (CBS) John Tucker Must Die (Fox), Firewall, Warner Brothers) and CSI: NYC (CBS).

Taxi Doll has shared the stage with a very diverse range of acts such as Katy Perry, The Prodigy, Shiny Toy Guns, Boomkat, Berlin, & Bitter Sweet as well as headlining shows around the country.

Universal & EMI Publishing got behind Taxi Doll and their single "Waiting," which climbed all the way to #3 on Billboard's Hot Dance Airplay Charts and is being released in the UK 2012. The single "Be With You" also reached the top 10 on the Billboard Dance Club chart and #5 in the UK pop charts.

The debut full-length, "Here and Now", proved that Taxi Doll isn't just a one-track dance act.
