Beats and sounds recorded with seismic equipment, transmitted over restricted government frequencies and intercepted by an anarchist listening station in the Appalachian foothills. Like a small child who was given a Serge Modular for Christmas.
Musician, writer, educator, artist, dilettante, nerd. I speak 5 languages, but four of them are made up. Since the mid-1980s, I've been exploring sounds and how to make them in ways that make people get up and get down. I have played industrial in warehouses, glam behind a drag queen, dance music in front of strobe lights, and spin the bottle behind the church. I like knobs and keys and wires and strings and tubes. Mac and PC. Analog and digital. Sacred and profane. I make glitchy ambient jams as tay0, and I play guitar for Atlanta artists Blair Lott and Lindsay Rakers. I also handle electronics and bass for the electro-jam trio Ultralap.
Thank you for your excellent set last night at the August City Skies 09 Electronic Music Event @ Kavarna. Loved the mix of samples, beats, and melodies. And the Electric Piano work was totally chill.

Hey , I wanted to stop by and let you know what we 're up to. We just finished a very successful tour of Germany, Italy and Switzerland. We are now headed out for a few weeks touring the southeastern United States. Hopefully we'll make it to a venue near you someday soon.
